MORE MATCHES ANNOUNCED FOR THIS FRIDAY IN BROOK PARK! - 11/20/08

We are just hours away from Pro Wrestling Ohio’s return to the Brook Park Armory, THIS Friday night!n The Brook Park Armory is located at 6225 Engle Road (OH-291) in Brook Park Ohio, 44142, in Brook Park, Ohio. Doors are set to open at 7 pm with a 7:30 pm belltime. Tickets are just $10 in advance, $12 the day of the show, and $15 for front row ringside! This is your chance to not only see hot PWO action, but to also have your faces, signs, and banners seen across the country on Sports Time Ohio!

Officials are putting the final touches on what is sure to be a blockbuster card, as PWO ends the 2008 calendar year in style. Already signed to take place:

- WWE Hall of Famer Greg “The Hammer” Valentine and self-proclaimed hometown hero “Superstar” Mike Tolar have signed to meet one another in a six-man tag team war this Friday night! Tolar & Valentine have been assigned the task of picking their OWN tag team partners for this match. Who will these two natural athletes select? The only way to find out is to be in Brook Park this Friday night.

- The PWO Championship WILL be defended as PWO Champion “M-Dogg 20” Matt Cross defends against the infectious luchador Virus. Virus has proven himself time and again in PWO, most notably in two unforgettable ladder matches. Now, with Virus seemingly entering the singles ranks, the PWO roster needs to take notice. Virus could make the biggest impact possible in just a matter of hours.

- Josh Prohibition is being forced by PWO officials to go one-on-one with the 6’8” 300+ pound “Most Dominant Man in PWO” Jason Bane. Prohibition’s jealousy over not being in the PWO Title picture inadvertently cost Bane the gold last month. When last we saw Bane, he claimed next time he and Josh are in the same building, Josh is a “dead man”. The next time they will be in the same building just to happens to be THIS Friday, and the match is now official.

- Johnny Gargano will be in attendance this Friday night, and we are expected to receive an update and official diagnosis on Johnny’s recent serious back injury. Johnny had a doctor’s appointment earlier this week and this Friday in Brook Park we should have more information regarding Johnny’s future.

- “The Prime Minister of Perversion” DeeeLicious Jimmy DeMarco makes his PWO return, and is sure to be as creepy and unpredictable as ever. The one-time cross-dresser hopes to erase the memories of his infamous Kiss My Butt match this past summer, and has signed on to meet one-on-one PWO’s most inspirational star, “One Armed and Dangerous” Gregory Iron.

- Vincent Nothing, one half of PWO’s Tag Team Champions will see action, as he takes on one-half of The Clash, Ernie Ballz. The Clash have made it known they are refocusing themselves and targeting the PWO Tag Team Title. Will The Clash send a message or will Vincent Nothing represent his tag team with Jake Crist well?

- The team of Pirate Justice, Matthew Justice and “Bloody” Morty Rackem, will both see singles action this Friday night in Brook Park. The swashbuckling superstar takes on the high-flying promising newcomer Omega Aaron Draven, while Matthew Jusitce has signed to meet Shiima Xion. Shiima makes his PWO return, and promises a surprise and a shocking change. What does Shiima have in store? Will Pirate Justice’s tag success translate to singles glory as well?

- “Amazing” N8 Mattson has announced he is issuing another open challenge to anyone in the state of Ohio that feels he can beat him. Mattson, a long-time Michigan elitist, feels his homestate is much better than anything in the Buckeye State. With Michigan vs. Ohio currently in season, will anyone step up to shut up Amazing N8?

- Marion Fontaine’s oddball relationship with Noj the Wild Samoan continues as they team up for the very first time, doing battle with cocky upstarts Corey Winters & Eric Ryan. Can Fontaine’s motto of being the “friend of the friendless” continue to breed success of will Corey Winters avenge his loss from one month ago?

All this PLUS: Hobo Joe, Benjamin Boone, Bobby Beverly, Michael “The Bomber” Façade, and more!

Tickets are just $10 in advance, $12 the day of the show, and $15 for front row ringside! Doors open at 7:00 with a 7:30 belltime! Advanced tickets are ON SALE NOW at www.pwowrestling.com and will also be available at the door the day of the show. It’s three solid hours of the best wrestling action in the region today. PWO Announces Matches for November 21 Brook Park Armory TV Taping! - 11/13/08

Pro Wrestling Ohio's final television taping of the year is Friday, November 21 at the Brook Park Armory, 6225 Engle Road (OH-291) in Brook Park Ohio, 44142, in Brook Park, Ohio. Doors are set to open at 7 pm with a 7:30 pm belltime. Tickets are just $10 in advance, $12 the day of the show, and $15 for front row ringside! Advanced tickets are ON SALE NOW at www.pwowrestling.com and will also be available at the door the day of the show. This is your chance to not only see hot PWO action, but to also have your faces, signs, and banners seen across the country on Sports Time Ohio!

PWO Officials have already signed the following blockbuster matches with more to come!

GREG "THE HAMMER" VALENTINE AND MIKE TOLAR COLLIDE IN SIX MAN TAG WAR!
Ever since Mike Tolar's embarrassing experiences at Wrestlelution, the amateur standout has vowed revenge on all who have wronged him. We saw Tolar violently assault one man that beat him that fateful August day, Benjamin Boone, and then issue a challenge to the other man who defeated him: Former WWE Intercontinental and World Tag Team Champion and a WWE Hall of Famer Greg "The Hammer" Valentine! Now, both men have been signed as team captains for an explosive six man tag team main event! Who will each side select and what will happen as the timeless legend meets the legend in his own mind in the ring for one last time!

PWO HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE: "M-DOGG 20" MATT CROSS vs. VIRUS
The infectious luchador makes his return to PWO for the first time since Wrestlelution and has wasted no time gunning for the very top of PWO, instantly issued a challenge to champion Matt Cross. Virus has been one of PWO's most exciting and versatile tag team competitors since PWO's inception, but with the apparent disappearance of his former tag partner following Wrestlelution, it seems Virus is ready to embark on a new chapter in his career. Will Virus make a gigantic impact in the PWO singles division or will M-Dogg 20 stay on top of the PWO mountain?

JOSH PROHIBITION vs. JASON BANE
Last month in Brook Park, Josh Prohibition was directly responsible in the outcome of the M-Dogg 20 Matt Cross vs. Jason Bane match. Josh's attempts at ruining M-Dogg 20's title reign and stealing the spotlight ended up angering Jason Bane to the point where Bane promised that the next time Bane and Prohibition are in the same building, Josh is "a dead man". That time will be November 21, the place is the Book Park Armory, and the match has officially been signed as Bane looks to get his hands on the man who may have cost him the PWO Title.

PLUS:

- The PWO return of "DeeeLicious" Jimmy DeMarco! What insanity will the "Prime Minister of Perversion" have prepared for Pro Wrestling Ohio?

- The PWO return of Shiima Xion! It's been several months since we've seen Shiima in PWO rings, and the Filipino standout promises a huge surprise and a major change!

- Michigan native "Amazing" N8 Mattson will bring back his open challenge to ANY wrestler from Ohio that thinks they are good enough to defeat him. Mattson was successful at this challenge last month, who will step up to the plate this time?

Plus: Johnny Gargano, Gregory Iron, PWO Tag Team Champion Vincent Nothing, Hobo Joe, Marion Fontaine & Noj the Wild Samoan, "Bloody" Morty Rackem, Matthew Justice, Omega Aaron Draven, and many more!

Upcoming airtimes for this episode of PWO TV:

Saturday night, November 15: 1:00 AM
Sunday night, November 16: 11:00 PM & 4:00 AM

Scheduled for this episode:

PWO Heavyweight Title: M-Dogg 20 Matt Cross vs. Jason Bane
One of the most unpredictable main events in PWO history with two of the most popular athletes in Pro Wrestling Ohio's history. Two weeks ago on television, Matt Cross stated he'd represent PWO well and defend his championship against all worthy competition. Moments later, the 6'8 300+ pound Jason Bane issued a formal challenge to the Innovator of Aerial Insanity. After proving himself "The Most Dominant Man in PWO" at Wrestlelution, one could not deny Bane deserving a title opportunity and M-Dogg was quick to accept. What will happen when these two popular athletes riding a wave of momentum meet this weekend on PWO TV for PWO's top prize? And what impact, if any, will other top title contenders such as the injured Johnny Gargano and irate Josh Prohibition make?

Interview with Johnny Gargano
PWO's own Michael Cash sits down with the man who calls himself "The Whole Shebang" to discuss the latest twists and turns in the career of the egomaniacal young Gargano. From his recent battles with Gregory Iron to his serious back injury that currently has him on the shelf indefinitely, Cash attempts to get all the hot news from the source himself. Has Gargano's injury humbled him? Will Gargano comment on the pending title shot he has if and when he can return?

"Megastar" Marion Fontaine vs. "True Talent" Bobby "The Body" Shields
Over the past two weeks, we've seen the Megastar embrace the unusual as he added Noj the Wild Samoan to his list of bizarre friends already including the unique Macho Grosh. One week after a successful in-ring debut, Noj accompanies the friend of the friendless as he takes on the only man in wrestling with an ego so large he needs two nicknames. After a shady but successful debut against Hobo Joe, can Bobby the Body go 2-0 in PWO or will Marion Fontaine bring another win to his newfound alliance?

The Clash in action!
Recently, we've heard Ernie Ballz & Brian Bender profess their goals to climb back to the top of PWO's tag team scene and target current Tag Champions Vincent Nothing & Jake Crist. Step one of their plan is this week, as the former Rock Show hosts step into tag team competition. Can Balls & Bender make a big time physical statement at the expense of their opposition?

Benjamin Boone in action!
Coming off of the biggest night of his career at Wrestlelution where he pinned Mike Tolar in record time with the legendary King Kong Bundy looking on, Benjamin Boone returns to the ring for the first time since that fateful day! Will The Big Bear continue his mauling ways?

Mike Tolar in attendance!
Speaking of the amateur standout and self-proclaimed hometown hero, Mike Tolar has stated he WILL be in attendance this weekend despite not being scheduled for ring action. Furthermore, sources say Tolar will have a major announcement to make. What does Tolar have in store for PWO coming off of a recent string of humiliating losses?

At Home With Hobo Joe
For the first time ever, Michael Cash ventures outside to talk to Hobo Joe at Hobo's own makeshift cardboard dwelling. What are the living conditions like for Hobo? Has the economic downturn affected him? What were his thoughts on his match with Bobby Shields two weeks ago? And what surprises could be lurking in the humble abode of PWO's cult hero?

Upcoming airtimes for this episode of PWO TV on STO:

Sunday night, November 9: 11:00 PM & 4:00 AM

Scheduled for this episode:

Gregory Iron vs. Mike Tolar
Two men from contrasting backgrounds and very contrasting experiences at Wrestlelution return to PWO action to square off one-on-one. Mike Tolar suffered the most embarrassing night of his career at PWO’s signature event, being humiliated by Benjamin Boone, King Kong Bundy, and WWE Hall of Famer Greg “The Hammer” Valentine all in one night. Tolar hopes to erase these memories and continue his career as Cleveland’s hometown hero and most gifted natural athlete -- in his own mind at least. Meanwhile, Wrestlelution may have been the best night of Gregory Iron’s career. Despite losing a bloody Last Man Standing war with Johnny Gargano, Iron refused to be carried out after the match, standing triumphantly to walk out on his own power, proving his will could not be broken, and dream could not be killed. Now Iron’s return to full-time PWO action sees him opposing one of PWO’s brightest shining stars. Who can come out on top in this battle of much-needed momentum?

Josh Prohibition vs. Bobby Beverly
After last week’s announcement that Jason Bane would be the very first challenger for M-Dogg 20 Matt Cross’ PWO Heavyweight Title, Josh Prohibition was reportedly enraged. Prohibition has been overheard saying his war with M-Dogg is NOT over until the PWO Championship is securely around Josh Prohibition’s waist. Probo demanded to see action this week, and officials have obliged, pitting him against promising upstart Bobby Beverly. Beverly scored big at Wrestlelution, teaming with Hobo Joe as Hobo scored his first ever pinfall win in PWO. But with Josh Prohibition irate and looking to send a message straight to M-Dogg 20 and PWO management, what will the fate of Beverly be in the biggest match of his career?

Noj The Wild Samoan vs. Corey Winters
We first saw Noj, and quite a bit of him, at Wrestlelution as Marion Fontaine’s surprise recipient of Jimmy DeMarco’s humiliation. Last week on PWO TV, we discovered Fontaine’s goal of befriending society’s outcasts and oddballs and give a place of belonging to the friendless. Little did we know when we first saw him, Noj is an accomplished wrestler as well. This week the 300-plus pound Samoan makes his PWO in-ring debut against rookie Corey Winters, who has been looking to get noticed in his own right and has reportedly formed a friendship with fellow PWO newcomer Eric Ryan. Will Fontaine’s latest find be successful?

“Omega” Aaron Draven vs. Eric Ryan
Two more athletes make their PWO in-ring debuts as Corey Winters’ newfound ally Eric Ryan goes one-on-one with the highly touted Omega Aaron Draven. Draven, a native of the Erie, Pa area, is known as one of professional wrestling’s ultimate risk-takers, putting his body on the line to amaze and impress no matter the cost. He is called “Omega” because every match or risk could very well be his last, but this is your chance to see his first foray into PWO competition. Will Aaron Draven live up to his reputation or will Eric Ryan spoil this much-anticipated debut?

Michael Cash’s Corner Featuring The Clash
Michael Cash’s weekly sit-down segment returns for its second installment, this time featuring Ernie Ballz & Brian Bender, collectively known as The Clash. The Clash were none too happy with the outcome of their Wrestlelution tag match, but where will they go from here? Who will The Clash target next and what are their immediate goals? Michael Cash investigates this week.

NEXT WEEK: PWO Heavyweight Title: M-Dogg 20 Matt Cross vs. Jason Bane
Last week, the deal was sealed and the match was made official and it will take place on PWO television on Sunday night, November 16. M-Dogg Matt Cross made history by becoming the first-ever PWO Champion, capturing his first heavyweight crown in his hometown of Cleveland. Meanwhile Bane solidified his reputation as The Most Dominant Man in PWO by running Cronus clear out of town. What can possibly happen when these two beloved forces collide one-on-one for Ohio’s ultimate prize? We will find out in just one week!

Remember, Pro Wrestling Ohio is only available on Sports Time Ohio! If Sports Time Ohio is NOT part of your DirecTV or Dish Network package, no matter where in the U.S. you are, call your satellite provider today and demand STO! Check local listings or www.sportstimeohio.com for times!

Upcoming airtimes for this episode of PWO TV on STO:

Sunday night, November 2: 11:00 PM & 4:00 AM

Scheduled for this episode:

PWO Tag Team Titles: Jake Crist & Vincent Nothing vs. Matthew Justice & Bloody Morty Rackem
Jake Crist & Vincent Nothing survived a brutal death-defying three-way Ladder Match this past August at Wrestlelution to become Pro Wrestling Ohio’s first ever tag team champions, despite having never teamed beforehand. This week, Crist & Nothing put their tag team continuity to the test in their very first title defense! Matthew Justice and “Bloody” Morty Rackem narrowly escaped tag team gold at Wrestlelution, and after winning PWO’s very first Ladder Match this past spring, are perhaps the most impressive team in PWO’s short history. Can one half of Irish Airborne and one half of Faith in Nothing combine together to create a new tag team dynasty of their own? Or can the team dubbed “Pirate Justice” rule the PWO tag team seas?

PWO Champion “M-Dogg 20” Matt Cross Addresses His Fans!
At PWO Wrestlelution this past August, M-Dogg 20 Matt Cross culminated a near-decade-long rollercoaster ride by pinning longtime partner/rival Josh Prohibition, becoming the first-ever PWO Heavyweight Champion, marking his first Heavyweight Title victory in his hometown of Cleveland, Ohio. This week, M-Dogg is scheduled for a special in-ring interview to share his feelings on being champion, and to set his goals and aspirations going into the future. But with Josh Prohibition reportedly fuming over not capturing the PWO Title, and a list of worthy title contenders quickly growing, will the Innovator of Aerial Insanity’s victory party be unceremoniously crashed?

Aaron Maguire’s Important Announcement
Agent Maguire suffered the most painful and humiliating day of his life at PWO Wrestlelution when his charge Cronus was soundly defeated by Jason Bane, making Bane officially The Most Dominant Man in PWO. Furthermore, Bane had five minutes to teach Maguire a very physical in-ring lesson. Now, with PWO entering a new era, Maguire is at a crossroads. Rumors are circulating that there has been a rift between Cronus & Maguire, and sources say this conniving con-man will deliver a major announcement this week! Michael Cash sits down with PWO’s most notorious agent to find out where his career goes from here!

Hobo Joe vs. “True Talent” Bobby “The Body” Shields
Can someone really be so talented that they need two self-absorbed nicknames to describe themselves. Bobby Shields certainly seems to think so. A very skilled and well developed young athlete, but hardly humble, the boisterous bodybuilder makes his PWO debut against perhaps his polar opposite: PWO’s cult-favorite, “Dumpster Dweller” Hobo Joe. Coming off his first pinfall win in his PWO career at Wrestlelution, can Hobo Joe turn his luck around and build some momentum or will he remain down in the dumps?

“Amazing” N8 Mattson Has A Challenge!
The Michigan elitist N8 Mattson has been seen sporadically in Pro Wrestling Ohio for a number of months, always singing the praises of his hometown of Detroit. This crafty veteran has reportedly issued an open challenge to anyone in the state of Ohio in an effort to prove his state’s superiority. Can anyone from the Buckeye State silence Mattson or will PWO be the recipient of a Michigan invasion?

All this plus “Megastar” Marion Fontaine introduces us to his bizarre Samoan counterpart, and PWO gets its first look at “Omega” Aaron Draven!

PWO CELEBRATES ONE-YEAR ANNIVERSARY - 10/20/08

One year ago today, a dream became a reality as Pro Wrestling Ohio hosted its very FIRST live event television taping. A rabid and raucous live crowd witnessed the beginning of a new era. Josh Prohibition & Johnny Gargano took their alliance to new egomaniacal levels. Jason Bane obliterated three men to stake his claim as The Most Dominant Man in PWO. Aaron Maguire emerged on the scene as one of the greediest and immoral individuals ever seen. "M-Dogg 20" Matt Cross solidified his reputation as Innovator of Aerial Insanity. Gregory Iron's year-long rollercoater ride of emotion began in shocking fashion. And Virus & "Bloody" Morty Rackem led their respective tag teams into an adrenaline-feuled opening match that would set the tone in PWO for months to come.

Twelve months later, Pro Wrestling Ohio is stronger than ever. Building off of a record-breaking Wrestlelution, and marching into Season 2 of our television program this November, PWO pledges to continue to bring the best action, drama, and entertainment to the people that have made Pro Wrestling Ohio possible - the great fans both at our live events, and watching around the country on Sports Time Ohio. PWO thanks you so much for your continued support and promises the best is still yet to come. Stay tuned...

Highlights from PWO Wrestlelution

Scores were settled, rivalries were ended, and a new chapter began in the saga of PWO and its stars. PWO Heavyweight Title Match: Josh Prohibition vs. “M-Dogg 20” Matt Cross
An epic love/hate relationship a decade in the making explodes on its grandest stage yet. M-Dogg 20 and Josh Prohibition are world-famous as tag team masters, but equally infamous as heated rivals. Prohibition made M-Dogg a target for abuse since day one in PWO, constantly stealing his spotlight, and attempting to end M-Dogg’s career by injuring his leg & groin. After a lengthy absence, M-Dogg makes a grand return to PWO rings to target the man who made his entire tenure in Pro Wrestling Ohio miserable. Will Josh Prohibition get one up on Matt Cross again? Or can the Innovator of Aerial Insanity avenge the actions of his one-time best friend. And who will walk out of the Plain Dealer Pavilion as the first EVER PWO Heavyweight Champion?

Greg “The Hammer” Valentine vs. “Superstar” Mike Tolar
Mike Tolar considers himself not only a hometown hero, but perhaps the most athletic, naturally gifted individual in the history of the business. Once Tolar’s ego exploded out of control, he issued an open challenge to ANY individual who wanted to face him one-on-one at Wrestlelution. Little did he know that challenge would be answered by a former WWF Intercontinental & World Tag Team Champion & a WWE Hall of Famer: the timeless veteran Greg “The Hammer” Valentine! Can Tolar back up his words, or will The Hammer humble the “hometown hero” in Valentine’s return to national television? PWO TV SEASON TWO COMING NOVEMBER 2; NEW EPISODES TO AIR WEEKLY! - 10/17/08

Since its inception and first television taping in October 2007, Pro Wrestling Ohio has slowly grown as the weeks and months progressed. As more and more fans began to discover the original and innovative content PWO offered to the independent wrestling scene, and more and more top-tier wrestlers decided to call Pro Wrestling Ohio their home, PWO continued to take baby steps onward and upward into slowly growing what was once a mere distant dream into a fully functioning operation.

Throughout our first year, fans were introduced to PWO TV. Our audience was treated to one hour of the best talent the area can provide, but new original episodes only premiered on a bi-weekly basis. As PWO continued to grow, and end our first season with the wildly successful Wrestlelution supershow, it was clear PWO TV was ready for the next level. Once PWO TV hits Season 2, you fans receive twice the action.

This Sunday night, tune in to Sports Time Ohio at 11:00 PM for a special rebroadcast of the hellacious Last Man Standing Match between Johnny Gargano and Gregory Iron, as well as the awkward Kiss My Butt Match between “Megastar” Marion Fontaine and “DeeeLicious” Jimmy DeMarco!

Then, Sunday night October 26, tune in for our final installment of Wrestlelution highlights! The self-proclaimed hometown hero Mike Tolar tangles with WWE Hall of Famer Greg “The Hammer” Valentine! In addition, re-live the epic confrontation to crown a first ever PWO Heavyweight Champion as the decade-long relationship between Josh Prohibition & “M-Dogg 20” Matt Cross explodes on its biggest stage yet!

Then, tentatively slated to premiere Sunday, November 2, PWO TV Season 2 officially hits the air! And with season 2 comes a brand NEW episode each and every week! No more reruns, no more rebroadcasts, every week will contain new and original footage of PWO’s top stars!

Scheduled for this episode:

Highlights from PWO Wrestlelution On Sunday, August 3, over 1,000 fans flocked to the Plain Dealer Pavilion to see the culmination of Pro Wrestling Ohio’s first year. Scores were settled, rivalries were ended, and a new chapter began in the saga of PWO and its stars. Join host Joe Dombrowski on location from the Plain Dealer Pavilion as we show you PWO’s proudest moment - Wrestlelution.

Last Man Standing: Johnny Gargano vs. Gregory Iron
The most personal and violent rivalry in PWO finally culminates in a match so brutal the only way to win is to leave your opponent unable to wrestle a ten count. When Gregory Iron pinned Johnny Gargano late last year, it sent Gargano spiraling into a jealous rage, upset that the cerebral palsy sufferer could be viewed as his equal, as opposed to the “freak” Gargano looked down on him as. Gargano thought he had rid the wrestling world of Iron after a savage assault (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cOVcxlIbPuk), however, Iron defied his doctors, returned to the ring and demanded to battle Gargano under Last Man Standing rules. For Iron, it is his opportunity to prove his win over Gargano was not a fluke, and that he truly can compete on any level. For Gargano, it is his opportunity to finish what he started, to give Iron one last head injury that will ultimately end Iron’s career… or worse. Which athlete will achieve their goal and who will be the Last Man Standing?

Kiss My Butt Match: Marion Fontaine w/Macho Grosh vs. “DeeeLicious” Jimmy DeMarco
Ever since the “Megastar” crossed paths with the “Prime Minister of Perversion”, it has been nothing but bizarre and unexplainable friction. DeMarco blames Fontaine for ruining his PWO debut, and ever since DeMarco has done everything to damage Marion’s career, from squirt baby oil in Fontaine’s eyes to dressing in drag to sneak attack him, even trying to seduce Fontaine’s manager and mascot, Macho Grosh (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uu4BPpaWQ4E). Fontaine had had enough and issued a challenge to DeMarco for ANY match type, and PWO’s creepiest competitor chose the ultimate humiliation: “Kiss My Butt”. One man will be forced to pucker up and kiss the keister of whomever emerges victorious. Will DeMarco stay a step ahead of Fontaine or can the Megastar finally find a way to embarrass the pervert of PWO?

Remember, Pro Wrestling Ohio is only available on Sports Time Ohio! If Sports Time Ohio is NOT part of your DirecTV or Dish Network package, no matter where in the U.S. you are, call your satellite provider today and demand STO! Check local listings or www.sportstimeohio.com for times!

HOT NEWS ON PWO’s NEXT LIVE TV TAPING THIS SATURDAY IN BROOK PARK! - 10/08/08

The start of Pro Wrestling Ohio’s second season of television programming is just days away! And with a new season comes new matches, new faces, and a new home for PWO’s live events. PWO debuts at the Brook Park Armory, 6225 Engle Road (OH-291) in Brook Park Ohio, 44142, on Saturday night, October 11 with LIVE PWO action! This WILL be a television taping for PWO on Sports Time Ohio so be sure to bring your signs and enthusiasm! This event is held in conjunction with the local National Guard and Family Readiness Group, which gives aid and support to relatives and loved ones of those serving our country overseas. A portion of event proceeds going to these great causes!

This Saturday in Brook Park you will see the following…

“M-Dogg 20” Matt Cross WILL defend the PWO Heavyweight Championship but against whom? Several challengers have made it known that they would like to be first in line. Johnny Gargano has been overheard telling anyone that will listen that he “wants the belt”, and after emerging victorious in a brutal “Last Man Standing” match with Gregory Iron at Wrestlelution, its hard to argue his claims of deserving a shot. Another athlete in contention is the 6’8” over 300 lb. Jason Bane, who defeated the monstrous Cronus at Wrestlelution to be officially recognized as “Most Dominant Man in PWO”. Both these athletes involved themselves in M-Dogg’s title match with Josh Prohibition at Wrestlelution, and Prohibition himself has stated that he feels his issues with Matt Cross are far from over. Who will be the chosen one to challenge the Innovator of Aerial Insanity in M-Dogg’s first title defense this Saturday night and how will the other contenders react?

One issue not in dispute is PWO’s Tag Team Titles. Seemingly unlikely partners Jake Crist & Vincent Nothing shocked the PWO world by capturing the gold in a hellacious Ladder Match at Wrestlelution. Now, they defend the titles against the winners of PWO’s first ladder match: Matthew Justice & “Bloody” Morty Rackem, collectively known as Pirate Justice. Rackem & Justice spent the first half of the year on a roll, can they regain their momentum to capture the tag team titles? Or can the one-half of Irish Airborne and one-half of Faith in Nothing combine together to form a flawless successful tag team?

“Superstar” Mike Tolar had possibly the worst night of his career at Wrestlelution, being humiliated by upstart Benjamin Boone and wrestling legends King Kong Bundy & Greg “The Hammer” Valentine. Tolar has reportedly been in a very volatile mood since that time, and will see action for the first time since as he takes on the inspirational cerebral palsy survivor Gregory Iron in Iron’s official return to full-time PWO competition. Despite losing his Last Man Standing Match at Wrestlelution, Iron exited the ring under his own power, refusing to be carried out and refusing to let Johnny Gargano kill his dream or belittle his efforts. Iron looks to build off of that emotional moment by resuming his winning ways, but it will not be easy. Who will win in this battle of much needed momentum?

Earlier we spoke of Josh Prohibition and his anger over losing to “M-Dogg 20” Matt Cross at Wrestlelution. Prohibition has signed on to meet Bobby Beverly one-on-one, but will Prohibition stop there? How will Beverly fare in his biggest match to date and what hell will Josh Prohibition raise as he deals with the fact of NOT being in the spotlight as heavyweight champion?

PLUS: The cult sensation Hobo Joe, “Megastar” Marion Fontaine, the obnoxious members of The Clash, Benjamin Boone, Noj the Wild Samoan, the PWO debuts of “Omega” Aaron Draven and Bobby “The Body” Shields, and much more!

Tickets are just $10 in advance, $12 the day of the show, and $15 for front row ringside! Tickets on sale NOW and also will be available at the door the day of the show!

Nearly three hours of entertainment, and for a great cause! Be there to support the local Family Readiness Group and National Guard, and be there to begin the ride all over again as PWO begins its second season. Don’t wait to see it unfold on television, be there LIVE and be seen on TV yourself! See it before the rest of the country, be there in Brook Park this Saturday night!

And don’t forget to check out PWO TV on Sports Time Ohio! After a few weeks of technical glitches, STO is prepared to deliver a new episode of PWO TV this Sunday night at 11! On tap, re-live Gregory Iron vs. Johnny Gargano’s hellacious Last Man Standing battle at Wrestlelution!

NEW VIDEO ONLINE: JIMMY DEMARCO - AN A$$ ON ICE - 10/01/08

When "Megastar" Marion Fontaine challenged "DeeeLicious" Jimmy DeMarco to a match with any stipulation of DeMarco's choosing for PWO's first annual "Wrestlelution" supercard, little did we know what PWO's resident pervert had planned. The "Prime Minster of Perversion" challenged Fontaine to a "Kiss My Butt" match, where the loser must publicly humiliate themselves by kissing the backside of the winner.

Moments before that match, Pro Wrestling Ohio cameras caught up with a wild and crazy DeMarco, who was not only focused on victory, but on carefully preparing his rump in very unique fashion for its national television debut.

Check out the comments and actions of PWO’s most controversial and unconventional athlete by viewing “Jimmy DeMarco: An A$$ On Ice” at the following link: CLICK HERE

And check out Jimmy DeMarco vs. Marion Fontaine in a “Kiss My Butt” match and much more this Sunday night at 11:00 pm on Sports Time Ohio on PWO TV. Jason Bane vs. Cronus w/Aaron Maguire
The two most unstoppable forces in PWO’s short history finally meet to answer a months-old question: Who is the Most Dominant Man in PWO? Bane has been the recognized top force in the region for years, however ever since acquiring the services of greedy agent Aaron Maguire, Cronus’ focus and intensity is second to none. After months of verbal jabs from Maguire, the stakes for this match were raised to be about more than pride and bragging rights. If Cronus wins, Aaron Maguire receives $5,000 of Bane’s personal money. However, if Bane is victorious, he receives 5 minutes in the ring with Aaron Maguire! Did irresistible force overcome immovable object? Did Bane finally get his hands on the conniving Maguire? And who truly is the Most Dominant Man in PWO? Tune in this week to find out!

Eight-Man Elimination Tag: Team Hobo Joe vs. Team Clash
After the failure of The Clash’s attempted talk show segment “The Rock Show”, co-hosts Ernie Ballz & Brian Bender refused to accept responsibility for the segment’s cancellation, instead blaming the guests they had booked: rookie Bobby Beverly and the dumpster dweller Hobo Joe. The Clash set out to ruin the careers of the unlikely duo, much as they feel they twosome had done to their would-be hit show. Tempers flared and PWO management ruled each side to formulate a team for a special eight-man elimination challenge! Ernie Ballz & Brian Bender are joined by Michigan veteran “Amazing” N8 Mattson and 375 lb. behemoth Shane Taylor to face the unique foursome of Hobo Joe, Bobby Beverly, Jon Kronica, and Charles “White Socks” Johnson. Will The Clash finally find peace or can Team Hobo stand up and prove themselves?

Three-Way Ladder PWO Tag Team Title Match
Jake Crist & Vincent Nothing vs. “Bloody” Morty Rackem & Matthew Justice vs. V-Squared It’s the battle for bragging rights to determine who the true kings of ladder matches are in the state of Ohio. Rackem & Justice, dubbed by our fans as “Pirate Justice”, had what many called the greatest ladder match ever when they defeated Virus & Virus Grande earlier this year. However, Vincent Nothing & Jake Crist, two ladder match veterans, took exception to the praise, claiming the other two teams couldn’t match what they themselves had done in their prior tag teams, Faith in Nothing and Irish Airborne. After Nothing & Crist formed an alliance, they issued the open challenge for a Ladder Match, that was quickly accepted by both other teams. PWO officials added more prestige when they announced the winners of this match would become the first ever PWO Tag Team Champions. It is a three-way death-defying high-impact war, that was so barbaric and brutal, even our ladders couldn’t withstand the punishment. Watch one of the most violent and unforgettable ladder matches ever this week on PWO TV!

King Kong Bundy vs. Benjamin Boone
It was supposed to be Boone’s career-making or breaking opportunity. The young upstart, hoping to stand up to a timeless and feared legend, a man that has broken bones and bodies for decades, “The Walking Condominium” King Kong Bundy. However, and unfortunate mishap left Bundy unable to compete, and both Boone and Bundy staring face-to-face with a vindictive Mike Tolar. Watch as Bundy raises hell and controversy on the microphone and see what happens when Tolar attempts to steal the show and spotlight for himself.

Women’s Challenge: Ashley Lane vs. ???
Ashley Lane spent weeks speaking about an open contract she had for any female athlete for a match at Wrestlelution. However, little did we know, that the match wouldn’t be against her. An injury and a legal loophole lead to a last minute substitution, as Ashley Lane perhaps just barely dodges the bullet that may have shut her up once and for all. Women’s action DID however take place, and you’ll see it in its entirely this week on PWO TV!

The privileged and genetically gifted Gargano attempts to end the career of the inspirational cerebral-palsy sufferer who pinned him cleanly ten months earlier, while the undersized success story Iron unleashes 21 years of pent-up hostility from an abusive childhood and life with a disability into one life-altering match. Watch as a vile and soulless display of violence leads to one of the most emotional and moving moments in independent professional wrestling in recent memory.

Six fearless athletes enter a hellacious and dangerous battleground as Irish Airborne’s Jake Crist joins forces with Faith in Nothing’s Vincent Nothing to defend their Tag Team Ladder Match legacies against Matthew Justice & “Bloody” Morty Rackem and Virus & Virus Grande in a chaotic three-team Ladder Match, where the winners will be crowned first-ever PWO Tag Team Champions! Bodies and ladders alike were contorted and ripped to shreds in a match so physical it defies description. All six men unleash brutality and barbarism rarely seen, as not even steel ladders were strong enough to handle the punishment these men unleashed on one another. This is without question, the encounter that stole the show, and with good reason.

Wrestling legends Greg “The Hammer” Valentine and King Kong Bundy make their PWO debuts, determined to show they can still hang with the young stars of today and tomorrow. Watch as The Hammer steps into the ring for one-on-one action, Bundy raises hell and controversy on the microphone, and each timeless legend has an unpleasant encounter with the amateur standout and self-proclaimed “hometown hero” Mike Tolar.

PWO’s two unstoppable forces meet one-on-one as the 6’8” 300+ pound locker room enforcer Jason Bane collides with the 6’3” 275 lb. “Indestructible” Cronus, with greedy agent Aaron Maguire by his side. It’s irresistible force vs. immovable object as two men who have been on a path of destruction since the company’s inception finally meet their match. If Cronus wins, he gets $5000 of Bane’s money, however if Bane is victorious, he receives 5 minutes in the ring with Aaron Maguire. Who is the Most Dominant Man in PWO? And will Bane finally get his hands on Aaron Maguire after months of Maguire challenging Bane’s toughness and courage?

And a ten year rivalry finally reaches its culmination as the love-hate relationship of “M-Dogg 20” Matt Cross and Josh Prohibition explodes into a one-on-one encounter for the ultimate prize: the winner becomes the first ever PWO Heavyweight Champion. Who would close the final chapter of this feud with victory and begin a new chapter lined with gold? Two icons of Cleveland wrestling in what may very well be their final battle against one another, for the highest stakes yet.

All this plus a special Woman’s open challenge, an 8-man elimination tag team match and… a Kiss My Butt match?

PWO: GARGANO vs. IRON: LAST MAN STANDING: HISTORY & VIDEOS - 7/28/08

Gargano & Iron discuss “Last Man Standing”: CLICK HERE

Gargano’s assault on Greg Iron (Feb. 2008): CLICK HERE

Heart. Courage. Determination. These words exemplify Gregory Iron, both in his career and in life. Born with cerebral palsy and raised in a tumultuous and hazardous home, Iron had the odds against him all his life. Verbal and emotional abuse from his parents, constant ridicule in school, and his mother’s growing crack addiction were merely a few of the many pitfalls Greg endured as a part of everyday life. However, adversity served only to make him stronger, more prepared for adverse conditions, and ready to face life’s challenges. When Greg nearly died one year ago at the Plain Dealer Pavilion thanks to a severe concussion, Iron never feared the end of his career or livelihood, but merely another obstacle to overcome. With the help of his strong will and desire, and professional wrestling as his life-long escape from the pain and torment surrounding him, Gregory Iron has grown into a complete and successful competitor, and an even more successful man.

Johnny Gargano. Cocky, self-absorbed, yet wise beyond his years with ring knowledge rivaling that of the most grizzled of veterans. Gargano is Cleveland wrestling’s golden child, with the ring savvy, intelligence, and good looks to grow into the complete package of pro wrestling. Gargano does not know the feeling of courageously fighting through abuse and ridicule, he was always the successful one, the attractive one, the stand-out, and the prodigy. Naturally gifted and genetically blessed, Gargano embodies the silver-spoon mindset. However, beneath Gargano’s cosmetic exterior exists a monster more grotesque than can be imagined. A hideous creature filled with jealousy, insecurity, and hate. When Iron pinned Gargano last October in Iron‘s first match back from his concussion, proving once and for all the pauper was on the same level as the prince, Gargano’s world was shattered. Gone was the brash young kid with a quick wit and overbearing personality. Gone was the egotistical punk fans just wanted to punch in the mouth. A darker Johnny Gargano was here. The monster had been awoken.

After four months of building resentment and insecurity, Gargano lashed out with the now-infamous attempt to end Greg’s career. Gargano attempted to destroy Iron not just physically, but mentally. By attempting to retire Iron, Gargano was taking the one and only thing Greg depended on his entire life… and forcing it from him. Iron was bloody and beaten, yet, despite all of our thoughts to the contrary, he was not beaten. Three more months of rehabilitation and recovery. Three months with one singular goal in mind, one singular obstacle to overcome. In May of this year, despite doctor’s orders, Iron began his journey to that goal, with the signing of a waiver and the issuing of a challenge.

Sunday night, August 3, Gargano and Iron compete one-on-one for the first time in ten months in one of wrestling most dangerous environments: Last Man Standing, where the only way to win is to beat your opponent so badly, he is unable to answer a ten count.

For Gargano it is a chance to absolve a blemish and re-write history, to finally defeat Iron swiftly and soundly and solidify his status as “above” someone he looks down on as so inferior. It is also his chance to finish what he started earlier this year, to re-awaken the monster within and assault Iron to the point his will never be able to recover and never be able to return. Gargano could rid the wrestling world of arguably his biggest threat.

For Iron it is a chance to cement his status as a top-tier player. It is his chance to return to the very venue he nearly died in a year prior, the Plain Dealer Pavilion, to take that location from the site of his lowest of lows, to his highest of highs. His chance to show that despite Gargano’s malicious intent, Iron will literally and figuratively not stay down. It is his chance to show his prior win over Gargano was not a fluke, and through hard work and dedication anything truly is possible. Most of all, it is one last hurdle for Gregory Iron. Is Greg prepared for the biggest obstacle of his life? Is Greg prepared to face the one man who embodies everything Iron has fought his entire life to defeat?

Only one can be the Last Man Standing.

PWO: VIDEO ONLINE: JIMMY DEMARCO: CONNIVING CROSSDRESSER - 7/28/08

"DeeeLicious" Jimmy DeMarco, the reverend of raunch, has had it out for "Megastar" Marion Fontaine ever since the two first crossed paths in PWO. DeMarco has done everything to cost Fontaine matches from squirting baby oil in his eyes, to sneaking into the building dressed in drag!

But is Jimmy DeMarco really perverted enough to remain dressed in drag long enough to seduce and manipulate Fontaine's simple-minded manager Macho Grosh, who actually believes DeMarco is a woman? Watch as Macho Grosh unknowingly sets his best friend Fontaine up for failure as DeMarco attempts to pull off one of the most ridiculous stunts in wrestling history.

How far will Jimmy DeMarco go to get what he wants? The answer may surprise you.

SHOCKING VIDEO

DeMarco meets Marion Fontaine one-on-one in a “Kiss My Butt” match on Sunday, August 3 at the Plain Dealer Pavilion for Wrestlelution.

VIDEO ONLINE: BANE vs. CRONUS CONTRACT SIGNING! - 7/22/08

On Sunday, August 3 at the Plain Dealer Pavilion in Cleveland, Ohio,, months of speculation comes to an end as “The Indestructible” Cronus, along with money-hungry agent Aaron Maguire, goes one on one with the locker room enforcer Jason Bane as part of PWO Wrestlelution. Should Cronus win, Aaron Maguire would receive $5000 of Bane’s money. However, if Bane emerges victorious, he receives five minutes alone in the ring with Aaron Maguire. And perhaps most importantly of all, the question will finally be answered: Who is the Most Dominant Man in PWO?

Recently on PWO TV, Bane & Cronus finally made their match official. Months of stalling and loopholes from Aaron Maguire, including a restraining order saying Bane can’t touch Cronus or Maguire, finally comes to an end as all parties involved put pen to paper. However, after nearly a year of pent-up rage and hostility, tempers could be contained no longer and the contract signing turned into a chaotic war zone that offered a small taste of what is to come on August 3.

Video of the shocking events that occurred at this contract signing are online NOW: CLICK HERE

Sunday, August 3, PWO Wrestlelution, it will explode again!

Last Stop on the Road to Wrestlelution!
Pro Wrestling Ohio presents its largest show ever Sunday afternoon, August 3 at the Plain Dealer Pavilion in Cleveland, Ohio as PWO presents “Wrestlelution”. This weekend on TV is the final new episode of PWO TV before the historic August 3 afternoon card. The voice of PWO, Joe Dombrowski, runs down all the late-breaking hot news, matches, attractions, and much more that will make Wrestlelution one of the most memorable extravaganzas in quite some time. Time is winding down, anticipations are heightening, Wrestlelution is merely days away!

Official Contract Signing: Jason Bane vs. “Indestructible” Cronus w/Agent Aaron Maguire
For months, the speculation has raged: Who is the Most Dominant Man in PWO? Is it the unofficial locker room enforcer in Jason Bane or the enraged and focused destruction-machine Cronus, with greedy and conniving Aaron Maguire by his side. After countless confrontations, after a restraining order that kept Bane from touching either adversary, and after all the pent-up anger and rage, it will finally become official. Bane, Cronus, and Maguire all put their names on the dotted line and seal their fate for August 3. Will Cronus emerge victorious at Wrestlelution and allow his antagonizing agent to pocket $5,000 of Bane’s cash? Or will the 6’8 mammoth defeat the undefeated and gain what he wants more than anything: 5 minutes in the ring alone with Aaron Maguire?

Comments from Johnny Gargano and Gregory Iron on “Last Man Standing”
Without question, the most personal and violent rivalry leading into Wrestlelution is the inevitable explosive confrontation between Johnny Gargano and Gregory Iron. Ever since the underdog Iron scored the ultimate upset by pinning Gargano, and Gargano retaliated after months of building insecurity and frustration with a near homicidal beating ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cOVcxlIbPuk ), PWO fans and insiders alike have been buzzing about what would happen when they met in one of wrestling’s most dangerous matches. This week, Iron and Gargano offer their final comments before the battle, addressing the dangers of the match itself, to their deep-rooted personal issues for one another. These powerful, emotional, and candid comments will be broadcasted unedited this weekend.

Open Mixed Tag Match Challenge: Josh Prohibition & Ashley Lane vs. ??? & ???
Ashley Lane returned to the PWO landscape just in time to see her frequent charge Prohibition cement himself as one of the PWO elite. Prohibition will battle decade-long rival/partner “M-Dogg 20” Matt Cross at Wrestlelution in the final chapter to their epic story together, with the winner becoming PWO’s first ever Heavyweight champion. Meanwhile, Ashley Lane has issued an open challenge to any female athlete to battle her one-on-one on August 3. With M-Dogg training for his return to PWO rings, and no one accepting Lane’s challenge as of yet, Josh & Ashley have issued another open challenge: for a mixed tag match. Any male and female wrestler are eligible. Who will stand up to the challenge? Will Prohibition & Lane build momentum toward Wrestlelution? And what role will their opposition play?

Matthew Justice & Morty Rackem vs. The Clash
Rackem & Justice, dubbed “Pirate Justice” by many of our great fans, are preparing for their ultimate test: a Triple Threat Ladder Match August 3 at Wrestlelution, against the teams of Jake Crist & Vincent Nothing, and Virus & Virus Grande. This week, they battle The Clash, who are in preparation for a special Ten Man Elimination Tag Match as part of Wrestlelution. It was announced last week, that Team Clash’s opposition, Team Hobo Joe, would include wrestling’s only one-legged wrestler, “Tenacious” Zach Gowen. Will The Clash be able to build momentum leading to August 3? And what about the rumors that PWO management has a major announcement concerning the Triple Threat Ladder Match that will raise the bar even farther?

Mike Tolar vs. Chris LeRusso
Mike Tolar considers himself PWO’s one and only true superstar. From a stand-out amateur athletic background, to his impressive win-loss record in Pro Wresting Ohio, Tolar is a very gifted natural athlete, and he doesn’t let you forget it. After several weeks of demanding competition, one man announced he was up for the challenge: Legendary WWE Hall of Famer Greg “The Hammer” Valentine! Tolar battles The Hammer August 3 at Wrestlelution, but this week he takes on another man with amateur credentials, martial arts stand-out Chris LeRusso. Will Tolar send a message to The Hammer or will his ego be taken down a peg before he even gets to the Plain Dealer Pavilion?

Upcoming airtimes:

Sunday night, July 13: 11:00 PM & 3:00 AM
Friday night, July 18: 3:00 AM

Currently scheduled for this premiere broadcast:

Johnny Gargano vs. Super Hentai
The once-disturbed Gargano was back to his cocky self in recent weeks, assuming he had permanently rid the wrestling world of his inspirational adversary and the only man to truly get the best of Gargano decisively in PWO to date, Gregory Iron. However, over the past month, Gargano’s world has come crashing down around him again. Iron made a shocking return from the crowd, swearing vengeance on the man that nearly ended his career forever (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cOVcxlIbPuk). After signing a waiver to be legally allowed to compete again, Gregory Iron made a most dangerous challenge for August 3rd at PWO Wrestlelution - a Last Man Standing Match. Gargano has promised to formally address the challenge this week on PWO TV, in addition to battling high-flying veteran Super Hentai, a man no stranger to STO audiences and hoping to make a big impact in his PWO debut. Will Gargano accept Iron’s challenge and attempt to finish what he started? Will Gregory Iron get the opportunity to make Gargano feel the same pain Iron himself had felt? And who, if anyone, will be the Last Man Standing?

Comments from “M-Dogg 20” Matt Cross and Josh Prohibition
PWO’s television cameras are on location as we catch up with the two men slated to compete in the first-ever PWO Heavyweight Championship Match on Sunday, August 3 at Wrestlelution. Our crew travels to the home of “M-Dogg 20” Matt Cross, intensely training for his PWO return after a lengthy hiatus and numerous international tours. Josh Prohibition will also have comments relating to his former long time friend and tag partner. This issue is deeply personal between the two, and spans nearly a full decade. Who really was the star of the team? Who carried who? What does M-Dogg have to say about Josh’s repeated assaults on him during the early weeks of PWO? And how does Josh feel about his old rival returning with both vengeance and championship gold on his mind? Both men speak out very candidly this week.

Cronus w/Aaron Maguire vs. Matthew Justice
Just days away from the official contract signing between Cronus and Jason Bane for their epic Wrestlelution showdown to determine who the most dominant man in PWO truly is, Cronus steps into battle with one of PWO’s brightest rising stars, Matthew Justice. As one-half of the newly-branded Pirate Justice along with “Bloody” Morty Rackem, Justice has found his true niche and with PWO’s King of Cleveland Ladder Match just weeks away, Justice is surely looking to test himself. And if there’s any man as threatening as falling off a 15 foot ladder… it is indeed Cronus. Will Jason Bane or any of the Ladder Match participants play a factor?

V-Squared vs. Hobo Joe & Bobby Beverly
Virus & Virus Grande return to the ring for the first time since their brutal Ladder Match with Matthew Justice & Morty Rackem. However, with the stakes raised further for a Triple Threat Ladder Match August 3 at PWO Wrestlelution featuring V-Squared, Matthew Justice & Morty Rackem, as well as Vincent Nothing & Jake Crist, the pressure is on the Viruses once again. This week, they face PWO’s resident dumpster dweller Hobo Joe and the promising rookie Bobby Beverly, who are in preparation for a wild and crazy Wrestlelution encounter of their own. Will V-Squared send a message to their Ladder Match counterparts? Will V-Squared be able to avenge their loss to Pirate Justice on August 3?

Benjamin Boone in action
Sources close to young Benjamin Boone say the PWO rookie feels misunderstood, taken for granted, and not taken seriously. After a disappointing loss to Mike Tolar last month, it seems Benjamin Boone has rededicated and re-focused himself and rumors say he will make a shocking challenge that will change the way people look at him forever. Boone will also see action as well. How will he fare and what bombshell will he drop on PWO?

The Wrestlelution Control Center
PWO’s play-by-play broadcaster Joe Dombrowski catches you up to speed on all the hot news and rumors leading into the biggest event in PWO history, Wrestlelution: Sunday, August 3 from the Plain Dealer Pavilion in Clevleand, Ohio with a 3:00 pm belltime. Confirmed matches, special appearances, ticket information, sponsorship packages, and more, ALL the information you need leading into August 3 will be addressed!

Friday night, July 11: 3:30 AM

Currently scheduled for this premiere broadcast:

Championship Contenders Match: Josh Prohibition vs. “Deviant” Michael Hutter
When PWO announced it would crown its first ever heavyweight champion August 3 at The Plain Dealer Pavilion in Cleveland as part of “Wrestlelution”, Josh Prohibition was quick to proclaim himself the only rightful and deserving first heavyweight champion. However, Michael Hutter was quick to object, citing the fact Hutter is the only man to have pinned Prohibition in PWO to date. After a physical altercation, Pro Wrestling Ohio decided to sanction a one-on-one match between the two: with the winner officially qualifying for the PWO Title Match at Wrestlelution! Will Hutter be able to pin Prohibition again or can Josh take one step further to proving his claims correct? And what about the other competitor that will be competing in the August 3 title match? What does PWO management have up their sleeves? All these questions will be answered on this episode of PWO TV!

Cronus in action, Bane in attendance!
Aaron Maguire’s personal charge “The Indestructible” Cronus will see one-on-one action against young upstart Bobby Beverly. With Beverly having such a tall order ahead of him, rumors are swirling that The Clash may have paid off Aaron Maguire to help get this match signed. Another man with a vested interest in this encounter is the man Aaron Maguire has a restraining order against, Jason Bane. After weeks and weeks of back and forth debate as to who is the most dominant man in PWO, word has it Bane will have an announcement to make. Will we finally see Bane and Cronus collide?

Gregory Iron Returns to the Ring?
When Gregory Iron was viciously assaulted by Johnny Gargano and diagnosed with his second severe concussion, doctors refused to medically clear him to return to the ring. However, it didn’t stop Iron from appearing out of the crowd on the last episode of PWO TV, in an attempt to extract revenge. PWO management has refused to place Iron back on the active roster, due to the legal liability a man in his condition presents. Word has it Gregory Iron will find a way around this legal impasse and have a very special message for his attacker Johnny Gargano this week on television.

“Bloody” Morty Rackem & Matthew Justice vs. The Clash
Rackem & Justice seemed like an odd combination on the surface, but after a career performance in their Ladder Match with Virus & Virus Grande to gain possession of Rackem’s swords, it was clear this team was to be taken seriously. This week, Rackem & Justice compete in their first match since their breathtaking ladder performance, taking on the much more experienced Ernie Ballz & Brian Bender. Will the Clash prevail or will they feel Pirate Justice? And will they have anything to say in regards to Vincent Nothing’s Wrestlelution Ladder Match challenge?

Mike Tolar vs. Benjamin Boone
The cocky amateur and professional standout has gone sour after not receiving the “hero’s welcome” he feels he deserves. Furthermore, Tolar is so confident in his abilities being far superior to everyone else’s, he has an open challenge on the table for Wrestlelution. Will Tolar have an impressive performance against young Benjamin Boone to build momentum? And will anyone officially accept Tolar’s challenge?

All this PLUS the official PWO Wrestlelution Control Center with Joe Dombrowski, updating you on all the hot news, rumors, and announcements leading into PWO’s biggest show ever August 3!

PWO WRESTLELUTION IS COMING!

In October of 2007, a new age began in Ohio professional wrestling. With the platform of national television at their doorstep, a roster of young, hungry, and capable athletes set out on a course to prove themselves. A course to begin carving their legacy, forging their reputations, and solidifying their abilities.

Through the next eight months, great sacrifices were made. Blood was shed, bodies were hurt, wills were damaged but did not break. All with the goal to reach the pinnacle of their profession, the height of their careers, and inch their way closer to the next level. On August 3, they will arrive.

Sunday afternoon, August 3 at the Plain Dealer Pavilion in Cleveland, Ohio, the best athletes in the region converge for PWO’s ultimate proving ground. Nearly one year of hostility, resentment, aggression, and hatred will be unleashed. It is a night of closure. A night of finality. A night for the most vital questions to be addressed and answered. Who is the Most Dominant Man in PWO? Who are the true kings of Cleveland Ladder Matches? Who has the drive to stand up to one of wrestling’s most heralded legends and survive? And who will achieve the ultimate prize of being called the first-ever PWO Champion?

August 3, the bad blood and ill-will reaches its culmination. The hatred and contempt can be contained no more. For these great athletes, it is time to not only rise to the next level, but surpass it. Some will stand triumphant, some will fall, some will achieve their dreams, carve their legacy, forge their reputations, and solidify their abilities for years to come, but all will meet their Wrestlelution.

PWO LIVE EVENT FALLOUT: WRESTLELUTION CARD FINALIZED! - 6/25/08

Pro Wrestling Ohio’s final stop on the road to Wrestlelution took place this past weekend in Lakewood, with even more shocking developments taking place as we inch closer to PWO’s largest event to date on August 3 at the Plain Dealer Pavilion.

LAST MAN STANDING MATCH CONFIRMED
Johnny Gargano officially accepted the brazen and courageous challenge of Gregory Iron for one of the most dangerous matches in existence: Last Man Standing. It is a match so barbaric, the only way to win is to render your opponent unable to answer to the referee’s ten count by any means necessary with NO disqualifications. For Gregory Iron, it is his chance to make one more inspirational return, to come back from the edge of demise and once again shock the world by conquering his obstacle. For Johnny Gargano, it is the chance to rid the wrestling world once and for all of the man who has been a threat to him since day one in PWO. It’s the privileged good looking success story versus the scrappy undersized underdog. Gregory Iron will return to the same building he suffered a near-fatal concussion in one year ago on August 3. Will history repeat itself or can Iron put his biggest demons behind him?

KISS MY BUTT?
When the “Prime Minister of Perversion” Jimmy DeMarco began badmouthing and attacking “Megastar” Marion Fontaine, no one could have guessed the drastic measures that the creepy and uncouth DeMarco would go to in order to achieve his goal of ruining Fontaine’s career. After costing Fontaine matches thanks to squirting baby oil in Marion’s eyes, and even going as far as sneaking into the building dressed as a woman, DeMarco crossed the line even further. Last weekend it was discovered DeMarco has actually been courting Fontaine’s manager and sidekick Macho Grosh - with Grosh not even realizing DeMarco wasn’t actually a woman! After a partnership gone bad, and preposterous marriage proposal, the Megastar was finally fed up with DeMarco’s foolishness. Fontaine made the challenge for Wrestlelution, going as far as to let the DeMarco pick the stipulation. DeMarco’s choice… a Kiss My Butt match? August 3 one of these men will pucker up and suffer the ultimate humiliation. But one question lingers… is it even humanly possible to embarrass Jimmy DeMarco?

KING KONG BUNDY GETS CALLED OUT
PWO rookie Benjamin Boone feels misunderstood. After months of training at the official PWO training school, and a number of televised matches, Boone feels like he’s overlooked and underappreciated, culminating last month when Mike Tolar chose to treat Boone as if he were a total joke. Now, Boone is out to make a statement, and in a big way. This past weekend, Boone issued a challenge to one of wrestling’s most dangerous legends… King Kong Bundy. Has Boone bitten off more than he can chew in the “Walking Condominium”. Or will the “Master of the 5 Count” be the victim of a big-time statement from a hungry young lion?

10 MAN ELIMINATION TAG TEAM CHAOS
For the first time in PWO, two teams of five strive to survive. Ten men will do battle, elimination style, until all members of one team have been eliminated. On one side, Team Clash, captained by Ernie Ballz & Brian Bender. Loud and obnoxious, they have made their mark well known from the mat to the microphone. On the other side of the ring, Team Hobo. Captained by PWO’s cult hero Hobo Joe, the dumpster dweller brings with him PWO upstart Bobby Beverly, as well as wrestling’s most awe-inspiring competitor: “Tenacious” Zach Gowen. Gowen has the distinction of being professional wrestling’s only one-legged wrestler and is a modern marvel that must be seen to be believed. Will the “One-Legged Wonder” help lead Team Hobo to victory or will Team Clash rock Hobo’s world?

WOMEN’S ACTION
Ashley Lane has proven to be a formidable opposition to male and female counterparts alike in her PWO tenure. An open challenge has been issued to any woman brave enough to stand across the ring from her. Who will step up to the plate and will they be enough to end the recent streak of momentum of Ashley Lane?

All this plus SO much more already announced. For more information on PWO Wrestlelution, be sure to visit the official Wrestlelution sub-site at wrestlelution.prowrestling.com

Both Bane and Cronus have left body after body battered and bruised and have risen to become the two most unstoppable and intimidating forces in the area. Bane has stood his ground as a respected veteran and locker room enforcer. While Cronus has done the evil bidding of his greedy agent Aaron Maguire, causing chaos all for profit and pure enjoyment. These two forces collide August 3 at the Plain Dealer Pavilion in Cleveland as part of PWO Wrestlelution. If Cronus is victorious, his agent Aaron Maguire receives $5,000 of Bane’s personal money. However, if Bane is victorious over Cronus, he will receive five minutes in the ring with Aaron Maguire! This match will be made official this Saturday as the two stand face-to-face in the ring to sign the contract. What could happen when these two monsters are in the same place at the same time?

Will Gargano accept Gregory Iron’s Last Man Standing Challenge?

Three months after having his career seemingly ended, Gregory Iron, the courageous cerebral palsy survivor, returned from the sidelines to target the very man who’s actions toward him were at best, criminal, and at worst, attempted homicide, Johnny Gargano. Iron showed no fear as he signed a waiver absolving PWO of all legal liability to his injuries, thus allowing Iron to return to the ring. Iron challenged Gargano to one of wrestling’s most dangerous matches: Last Man Standing, a match so brutal you have to beat your opponent so badly that they are unable to answer a count of ten. Gargano has given Iron such a beating before, but now Greg is back to avenge it and show he can unleash an assault just as good, if not better than Gargano can. Will Johnny Gargano accept the challenge for the most dangerous match of his career? Is Gregory Iron risking too much? This situation WILL be addressed this weekend!

Johnny Gargano vs. The debuting Super Hentai

The internationally-traveled Super Hentai makes his very first appearance in a PWO ring this Saturday as he takes on Pro Wrestling Ohio’s most disrespectful and controversial individual, Johnny Gargano. Trained in Hayabusa, Japan, Hentai has competed everywhere from Hawaii to Canada and is a long overdue addition to the PWO roster. Will Hentai instill respect into the cocky prodigy, or will Gargano come out on top yet again?

Who will stand up and accept the challenge?

LADDER MATCH: “Bloody” Morty Rackem & Matthew Justice vs. V-Squared
It is a war months in the making that has escalated time and again. Ever since Virus & Virus Grande stole Morty Rackem’s prized swords, Rackem has come up just short of revenge and retribution time and again. No matter the circumstances, no matter the partner, just when Rackem feels he is about to avenge V-Squared’s evil deed, the masked miscreants stay one step ahead. Rackem’s new partnership with Matthew Justice has led to a victory already, but will it be enough for survival in the ultimate battleground? Rackem is in search of his property, while Justice is in search of respect, having seemingly dissolved his partnership with the unbalanced Charles “White Socks” Johnson. Meanwhile, V-Squared hopes to retain psychological dominance, over Rackem himself and the PWO tag team division as a whole. Who will scale the ladder and claim rightful permanent possession of the swords? Can Rackem reclaim his property or will Virus & Virus Grande overcome the swashbuckling superstar once and for all?

Sit-Down Interview with Johnny Gargano regarding Gregory Iron
Some weeks have passed since Johnny Gargano’s vile and near-criminal assault on Gregory Iron (as seen here, viewer discretion advised: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cOVcxlIbPuk) however the memory of the events that unfolded are still as clear as ever. Iron has yet to be seen since the attack, and has been resting at home after being diagnosed with his second serious concussion within a year. With Gregory Iron’s career potentially over, and Gargano responsible for robbing Iron of the one thing he’s been able to count on in his life, does Gargano feel any remorse? PWO Commentator Joe Dombrowski sits down with the cocky young prodigy to discuss his entire history with Gregory Iron in PWO. Will Gargano apologize? Will he have any message for Gregory Iron at all? It is sure to be an emotional and impactful interview.

“DeeeLicious” Jimmy DeMarco vs. Hobo Joe
The self-proclaimed “Prime Minister of Perversion” sunk to a new low on our last broadcast when, after being banned from the building, DeMarco snuck in through the crowd dressed in drag to attack Marion Fontaine with a loaded purse. This week DeMarco returns to the ring, and hopefully men’s clothing, to do battle with another fashionably impaired athlete, the cult-hero Hobo Joe. Hobo has proven that what he lacks in cleanliness, he makes up for in toughness. Will PWO’s most physically disgusting star overcome PWO’s most mentally disgusting star or will Dr. DeeeLicious bring another prescription for perversion?

Josh Prohibiton: PWO Champion?
The rumors have been confirmed as fact: PWO will crown its very first heavyweight champion August 3 at PWO Wrestlelution! Upon hearing the news, Josh Prohibition could think of only one man deserving of the prize… that being Josh Prohibition. Josh has requested television time to plead his case, however after being handed his first ever PWO pinfall loss at our last broadcast at the hands of “Deviant” Michael Hutter, will there be any objections to Prohibition’s championship dreams?

Cronus vs. Chris LeRusso
“The Indestructable” Cronus and agent Aaron Maguire continue to steamroll through opponent after opponent, claiming complete dominance, while at the same time seemingly dodging the challenges of 6’8 300 lb. Jason Bane. Young Chris LeRusso, hoping to gain notoriety overnight, has signed on for the challenge, however with Cronus’ focus and anger at an all-time high, will the newcomer be able to put a dent in the armor of Cronus? And with Jason Bane unable to touch Cronus until a contract for a match is signed thanks to Aaron Maguire’s restraining order, will Bane find a way to make his mark known without violating the restraining order and risking banishment from PWO forever?

All this plus much more!

NEW EPISODE OF PWO TV 5/18: PROHIBITION & GARGANO vs. BANE & HUTTER - 5/14/08

Upcoming airtimes:

Sunday night, May 18: 11:00 PM
Friday night, May 23: 3:30 AM
Sunday night, May 25: 11:00 PM

Currently scheduled for this premiere broadcast:

Josh Prohibition & Johnny Gargano vs. Jason Bane & Michael Hutter
Recently, PWO fans were horrified as they witnessed Johnny Gargano commit the most heinous and vicious assault in recent memory, when he violently attempted to end the career of Gregory Iron, an incident Gargano’s running buddy Josh Prohibition was quick to gloat about and upload onto the internet (a link to the footage is here but viewer discretion is advised: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cOVcxlIbPuk). Perhaps no one outside of Greg’s immediate family were more offended by this assault than “Deviant” Michael Hutter, who along with M-Dogg 20, befriended Iron in recent times. Hutter let his temper get the better of him at the time, but now he’s finally officially signed his PWO contract and is prepared to make his in-ring debut - at the expense of Gargano and Prohibition - and he’s not coming alone. Will Hutter and locker room enforcer Jason Bane beat some respect and sympathy into Gargano and Prohibition or will this duo’s heinous crimes go unpunished?

Rematch: Vincent Nothing vs. “Megastar” Marion Fontaine
A few weeks ago, Vincent Nothing scored a decisive submission victory over Fontaine, thanks in large part to outside interference from the perverted and downright creepy “DeeeLicious” Jimmy DeMarco, who has had issues with Fontaine since he first stepped foot in PWO. However, this week, Jimmy DeMarco has been BANNED from the building, and security will be circling the building to make sure he does not try to enter. Can Marion Fontaine finally focus on the task at hand without having to worry about being the target of Jimmy DeMarco? Can Vincent Nothing continue his winning ways? And what about the rumors that Vincent Nothing has been outspoken regarding the ladder match that will air on the next episode of PWO TV?

Cronus’ Path of Destruction Continues
Since day one in PWO, the indestructible Cronus, along with agent Aaron Maguire have left a trail of victims week by week. Cronus is scheduled for action this week, will anyone be able to pose a threat? And will we learn any new information on the pending confrontation between Cronus and Jason Bane. Bane has lobbied for the match ever since Maguire made the challenge on behalf of Cronus, however ever since that day Maguire has postponed the match time after time, claiming “the money isn’t right”, and even going as far as to take out a restraining order against Bane. Will we get any closer to seeing Cronus finally collide with Jason Bane.

The Clash vs. Bobby Beverly & Benjamin Boone
Ernie Ballz & Brian Bender hoped to be the stars of the PWO television broadcast when they introduced a new segment called “The Rock Show”. However, after just one week on the air, PWO management deemed it a disaster and promptly canceled the broadcast. Rather than accept the blame, Ballz & Bender have turned their anger toward the show’s rather dubious guests: the foul-smelling cult hero Hobo Joe, and the young rookie Bobby Beverly. This week, one of those men, Beverly, stands up for himself and takes the fight to The Clash with the help of his training partner Benjamin Boone. Will The Clash succeed in humiliating Beverly again or will PWO’s young lions succeed in cancelling The Clash permanently?

All this plus much more!

NEXT TIME ON PWO TV!
Remember to tune in to PWO TV the weekend of May 31 as “Bloody” Morty Rackem & new partner daredevil Matthew Justice finally collide with Virus & Virus Grande for possession of the heirloom swords of Rackem’s that V-Squared stole several months ago. It was a high-risk death-defying adrenaline-feuled war that raised the bar for ladder matches in the state of Ohio, and solidified all four athletes as major players. And the only way to see it is on PWO TV at the end of the month!

MAY 24: CHAMPIONSHIP CONTENDER MATCH SIGNED! - 5/09/08

Over the past several weeks, it’s been heavily rumored behind the scenes that PWO management have decided the time is right to introduce an official PWO Heavyweight Championship and crown a recognized titleholder. Upon hearing the rumors, the first man to claim himself deserving of the championship was the crafty Josh Prohibition. Although conniving and immoral, it is tough to argue Prohibition’s claims, as he boasts a near flawless record in his PWO career. One man who did take exception however, was “Deviant” Michael Hutter, who handed Prohibition his very first PWO pinfall loss at our last live event. Hutter balked at Josh’s claims, and a physical altercation took place behind the scenes, a fracas that will soon be broadcasted on PWO TV on Sports Time Ohio.

As a result of the incident, PWO officials have decided to sign a monumental match in the evolution of PWO. Josh Prohibition will meet the only man to have pinned him, “Deviant” Michael Hutter, live May 24 at PWO’s next television taping at the Masonic Temple in Lakewood, Ohio. However, as an extra added stipulation, the winner of this match will officially qualify for the very first ever PWO Championship match to be held this August at the Plain Dealer Pavilion! Only one of these athletes can move on to the first ever PWO Title match. Who will it be? And will any news be delivered regarding the other participant to be involved in the title match this August? The only way to find out is to join us live in Lakewood on Saturday, May 24!

Doors open at 7 p.m., with a scheduled 7:30 p.m. belltime. This event emanates from the lavish Lakewood Masonic Temple, located at 15300 Detroit Ave. in Lakewood, Ohio. Tickets are only $15 front row, $10 General Admission in advance, $12 GA the day of the show. Tickets are ON SALE NOW at www.PWOwrestling.com. This show is proudly sponsored by Westside Metals Corp. and Eastside Metals Corp.

Friday night, May 16: 3:30 AM

Currently scheduled for this premiere broadcast:

Johnny Gargano Speaks Out On Attack on Gregory Iron
On the last broadcast of PWO TV, Johnny Gargano was responsible for the most reprehensible and offensive act in PWO history, as he perpetrated a savage assault on Gregory Iron, after months of being unable to best the inspirational superstar physically or psychologically. After the attack, Iron was hospitalized for three days before being sent home where he has been quiety recovering. Greg suffered another severe concussion, and at this point his career is very much in doubt. Greg has said that
